Auxilium is dedicated to weaving a tapestry of mental wellness across the upstate of South Carolina. As a non-profit, we hope to stand as a bridge, connecting individuals with essential mental health services while simultaneously bolstering the region's ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy. Our commitment goes behind just filling the gaps; we are here to build a community where mental health is a priority and support is readily available for everyone.
OUR MISSION
Auxilium strives to connect individuals with mental health services and enhance the Upstate's capacity to offer high-quality, evidence-based therapy. Although Auxilium does not offer mental health counseling, we do offer groups to address life issues. We believe that accessible mental health support is the cornerstone of a thriving community.
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
CONNECTING INDIVIDUALS
Our goal is to be a guiding light and help individuals navigate the maze of mental health services. We understand that finding the right therapy can be overwhelming and we are here to simplify the process, connecting you with the support you need.
BUILDING CAPACITY
Empowering communities by enhancing their capacity to offer high-quality, evidence-based therapy. Through training, resources, and collaboration, Auxilium works hand-in hand with mental health professionals and organizations, enriching their expertise and effectiveness. When high quality training opportunities can become affordable, therapists can become engaged and better serve our communities.
ADVOCACY
Auxilium advocates for mental health awareness, erasing stigmas, barriers and fostering understanding. By promoting dialogue and education, we work toward a community where mental health is discussed openly, leading to better understanding and acceptance.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
We are more than just an organization; we are a community. Auxilium hopes to provide a safe place for individuals to find support, share stories and connect with others who have faced similar challenges through group and community offerings. Together, we hope to create a network of strength and resilience.
